The internal memory storage of the phone is 8GB which can be extended up to 32 GB with the help of external micro SD card. The battery back up of Xperia L is decent but not that good, as Xperia S has the same battery backup and I have been facing lots of problem with such a low battery backup you will have to be very specific about the features that you keep on ON on your phone like do not put the phone on auto-sync or use backlight. Use features only when they are necessary else it wont even last for 7 hours (when you are checking your phone regularly over internet). There is not intimation about the date of availability of this phone in India and its price.

Samsung Galaxy Grand will be its competitor in the market as when it comes to the camera and the power of the phone, then both phones land on the same level and when it comes to the Battery backup and screen of the phones then Samsung Galaxy Grand performs better with 2100 mAh over 1700mAh and 5 inches over 4.3 inches of screen with the same resolution. So it is important for Xperia L to get their pricing below 21k INR else it will be a problem for Xperia L.
