One of the drawback in this new version of Galaxy Tab is the operating system which is still Android 4.1 specially when we have Android 4.2.2 in phones like Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One. When compared with the previous Galaxy Note 2 then they are not much different as per the hardware specifications but they have different looks as in Galaxy Note 2 we did not have any hard button for the Home screen and moreover the layout of the tablet was much different when compared with a phone, because you had the battery indicator, time, notification section and others at the bottom of the screen which are usually available at the top of the screen on your mobile phone but now in Galaxy Tab 3 you will have conventional look of a phone, with 2 soft keys and one hard key in the center bottom of the front panel acting as the Home button. So, look wise they somewhat differ but when talking about the Operating System then they both has Jellybean and same is true with the camera specifications for both the tablet which is 3MP when talking about the primary camera and 1.3 MP when taking secondary camera into consideration. The battery strength is also the same which is 4000 mAh offering the same stand-by and talktime. The processor of the new Tab 3 has been upgraded with 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor but RAM is still the same with 1GB. So, I am not sure that this new version of Samsung Galaxy Tab will make much of a difference in terms of performance. As far as the availability is concerned then they have talked about it for the specific countries but stated that it will be globally launched in the month of May and this version will be only equipped with WiFi and the 3G version of this tablet will come in late June. No word about the price is available but stay tuned to get updated.
