The devices were initially showcased by the Finnish giant at the Nokia World event hosted in October, and are hold the medallion of being two of Nokia’s first phablets. As you would’ve expected, both devices, being Lumia ones, feature Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS. Among the two, the 1520 is indeed the more powerful and higher-end.

The 1520 comes with a 6” full HD display along with Gorilla Glass 2 coated on top. It also features a super-sensitive touch panel and comes powered by none other than the Snapdragon 800 chipset, which houses a quad core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz. Along with the powerful quad core CPU, the phone features the Adreno 330 GPU as well. Nokia has continued to focus on optics, and the 1520 packs a 20MP main shooter at the rear that features a 1/2.5’’ sensor and Carl Zeiss optics. Other specs include 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM, and a 3,400mAh non-removable battery.

On the other hand, the Lumia 1320 is more of a budget alternative to the 1520. It comes with the same 6 inch screen but with a lower 720p resolution, and features Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against scratches. It comes with the lesser-powered Snapdragon S4 which features a dual core 1.7GHz CPU and an Adreno 305 GPU. The biggest hit is felt in the imaging department, where the 1320 features just a 5MP as opposed to the mammoth 20MP on its elder sibling. The 1320, however, comes with the same 3,400mAh battery which should in fact return better usage hours as compared to the 1520.
