The Nokia MD-12 wireless portable speaker comes shod with a built-in vibrating actuator on the base which the company states will provide you with a thumping bass even when placed on a surface. This is quite a good thing as you usually lose a good amount of bass because of the speakers being kept on varied surfaces. The MD-12 can be connected with your devices through Bluetooth and NFC. The speaker will account for a good audio companion.
And that is not all. It comes with a microphone so you can use it as a speaker for your calls as well but we highly doubt if you’d be doing that frequently. It can connect through an AUX cable too if you are in the mood to save some battery courtesy of the AUX cable provided along with it. It derives power from a re-chargable battery unit that will allow you 15 hours of music playback on a single complete charge. It is available in yellow, green, orange and white colours to choose from. The other accessory to be launched was the Nokia Treasure Tag that is meant to serve as a tracker and keeper of your accessories. It will connect with a Lumia smartphone through Bluetooth or NFC and will allow for ease of access through the Nokia Treasure Tag application available for the Lumia devices. Post you have connected a device with Treasure Tag and if you try to leave without device/accessory connected with it, both of them (device and Treasure Tag) will make a sound to remind you to carry both of them together and find the one left behind too. It is available in Black, White, Blue and Yellow colours. The Treasure Tag’s location can be figured out through HERE Maps too which seems like a nice little touch on the behalf on Nokia. The portable speaker will be up for grabs in mid-June while the Treasure Tag will become available on 31st of May.
