This will isolate our subject and also makes the background transparent. You can further isolate the “Face” of the image. First, in the Layer Panel, select the ‘Mask Thumbnail’ option beside the layer thumbnail. What does this do? You can make any content in the image black or white to hide or reveal the content. Use the ‘Lasso Tool’ in Photoshop to select any part and fill it with black using Paint Bucket. Once you edited the image and made the necessary changes, click on Mask Thumbnail and right-click on the image, and then “Apply Layer Mask”. We have to use this image in our Discord Emote template. Click on ‘Select’ and then ‘All’. Next, click on ‘Edit’ and then ‘Copy’. Open the Discord Emote template we created in the beginning and then click on ‘Edit’ and then ‘Paste’. If the image is larger than the resolution we want, you can resize it by selecting ‘Edit’ and then ‘Free Transform’. After finishing everything, click on ‘File’ and then ‘Save As’. Give an appropriate name and don’t forget to choose the file as PNG.
