Honor 8 Pro Camera Samples

The camera on the Honor 8 Pro is smooth when it comes to user interface, so we took it for a practical test and captured images using different modes under various light conditions. Here is what we captured with the Honor 8 Pro.

HDR

The Honor 8 Pro has an HDR mode that works really well. The difference was clear as soon as we took 2 images with and without toggling HDR.

Monochrome

Coming to Monochrome, the images are crisp and the Rear 12MP monochrome camera seems to be doing a good job.

Natural Light

We took the Honor 8 outdoors to capture Batman vs Superman and other objects. The images captured look crisp and retained their natural colors. Even with smaller objects, the focus and clarity is not compromised.

Artificial Light

Images taken in artificial light with the Honor 8 Pro have an overall good quality. The dual camera seemed to have done the depth job really well as we took images that required deeper shots and the Honor 8 Pro delivered good results. The image as a whole looks clear and sharp but if you think of excessive zooming and cropping images to make a wallpaper, you may spot some grains in the images.

Low Light

The one area where the image processing of the Honor 8 Pro can be seen is low light photography. When we clicked images in low light, we found the samples as clear as those clicked in artificial light. The colors also remained close to natural and the device certainly did good in low light conditions

Verdict

The Honor is Pro is a great device priced at Rs. 29,999. It offers all the features of a true flagship and the camera in itself is good. In every condition, the camera performs really well and if we see the overall quality and color retention of the image, we find its better than most devices. The phone offers a simple yet effective camera User Interface. Other departments like display, performance, and connectivity in the Honor 8 Pro are really good. The phone does not heat much and battery has also been optimized properly by the company.
